Learn More About Social Work During an IUPUI JagDay!
IUPUI welcomes high school students and their families to an exciting campus experience! IUPUI JagDays are an interactive and personalized opportunity to meet with the academic unit of your choice and learn more about what they have to offer.
Students in the Indiana University School of Social Work go on to promote social and economic justice at every level-from providing for the well-being of others to shaping social and economic policies. Whether you want to begin a career in social work, or are preparing for an advanced leadership role in practice, research, or policy development, the Indiana University School of Social Work sets the standards for innovative and inspired social work education.
Your JagDay experience will allow you to explore IUPUI in the following ways:
Meet with current students, faculty, or staff within your selected school and possible major: During the JagDay experience, students and families will have the chance to speak with a representative from IU School of Social Work
Lunch on campus: A meal card will be given to the student participating in the JagDays experience. This meal card will allow the student to have a meal in Citizen Commons or The Tower Food Court with current IUPUI students.
Campus Tour: Your tour will explore the academic and housing facilities on campus. During this time the students and families will have the opportunity to take a campus tour and see first-hand the beautiful IUPUI campus including campus housing.
