BSW Student Association (BSWA)

Students of the BSW Program maintain a BSW Student Association, which sponsors program meetings and social events during the year. Through elected officers and committees, the association serves as an important channel of communication between students, faculty, and the University.

Additionally, this organization appoints student representatives to the IUPUI student government and to various School of Social Work committees. Students are also encouraged to participate in organizations related to the social work profession.

The Association also holds an annual fund raiser with proceeds benefiting BSW students and others through selected student outings, diverse learning experiences, community outreach work, and the BSW Graduation Party.
