The Certificate in Family Life Education offered by the Indiana University School of Social Work prepares graduates with an understanding of families and their relationships to other institutions, offers an understanding of family strengths and deficits and insight into how family members relate to each other, provides graduates with an understanding of the developmental changes of individuals in families throughout the life span to meet their adjustment needs, and provides graduates with an understanding of the physiological, psychological, and social aspects of sexual development throughout the life span, so as to achieve healthy sexual developments.
