Racial Disparity?
In Indiana and across the nation, there is racial imbalance in the number of children of color served by the child welfare, juvenile justice, education and mental health systems. Do you know a child who has been:
Suspended or expelled from school?
Arrested or placed in secure detention?
Placed in foster care or adopted?
Given a mental health diagnosis that you disagree with?
A series of Public Forums is being held in Indiana, and your input is vital!
|
If you are a parent or guardian, foster or adoptive parent, or a young person who has been affected, please come and share your experiences and your recommendations. This is your chance to tell youth service providers what does and does not work.
