School of Social Work starts field Friday events

The Indiana University School of Social Work held the first of its Field Fridays Series Jan. 28, featuring Robin Rossman, RN, MSN, APRn-Bc, CEAP of Indiana University Health on ‘Leading Through Conflict.” The training on how to approach conflict as an opportunity for improvement and gave participants a means for discovering new opportunities to practice the steps in the conflict resolution process.

Field teamThe Field Fridays series is designed to provide professional development training for field and task instructors working with BSW and MSW practicum students. The training sessions are held on the 4th Friday of every month. The next session, “Adult Learning Theory: How we construct meaning personally and professionally”, is scheduled from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 25th. The series is being coordinated by IUSSW Field Faculty, Jacqueline Bell, Sheila Dennis, Erika Galyean, Akanke Omorayo-Adenrele, Carol Satre and Robert Weiler.
