Giving makes things happen

Giving to IU School of Social Work makes people and communities stronger. Whether you designate a gift to student scholarships, programming, research or another worthy cause, your generosity ensures that social workers have the skills and training to make a difference in the communities where we live and work.

For nearly a century, the Indiana University School of Social Work has worked to educate the next generation of social workers to be compassionate, effective leaders not only in their chosen field of practice, but in their communities. We’ve come a long way since the school started with one worker, a telephone and a desk. The School of Social Work is now seen as one of the top schools of social work in the country with an outstanding faculty that provides a balance of classroom and field experience, research and scholarship. Undergraduate and graduate students put in more than 200,000 hours a year helping to rebuild individuals, families and communities through our intensive internship program.
