About

Amanda Adhami received her Masters in Social Work from IUPUI in 2016.  She is an LCSW, CADAC-V, BCPG, and ICGOS certified.  She is the Clinical Director at Emberwood Center and has opened a private practice.  Among her many outreach activities, she is the girls youth director at Al-Huda Foundation, a frequent speaker on campus in a classroom setting and in community events, on topics ranging from Islam and Mental Health, Substance Use, responses to the Opioid epidemic and empowering women and minorities.  Her academic interests include theories of ethics.  Amanda has a publication on the critical evaluation of the effectiveness on poverty intervention.
