About

Vanessa Pataky is the Senior Director of Service Access. Now you might be wondering what all that entails. Great question! Service Access refers to all access points our patients enter services. This includes our FQHC assessments, Behavioral Health intakes and crisis services.

Vanessa joined Aspire in 2018 where she started as an outpatient Clinical Manager in Hamilton County. In 2019 she accepted the role of Director of Youth and Family Home and Community Based Services where she spearheaded Aspire’s renewed focus on Youth and Family services and our partnership with the Department of Child Services. Vanessa joined the Senior Directors in June of 2022 and hit the ground running focusing on improving access to care.

Since obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Vanessa has dedicated her time to working with youth and family in a multitude of settings. From outpatient, home and community based, school based to the hospital setting, she has advocated for this under-served population and gave them a voice. She obtained her master's degree in Social Work in 2008 and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2011. She has remained connected to growing our workforce through her role as an adjunct professor at both the IU School of Social Work and the Butler University LMHC graduate program since 2015. Vanessa currently serves as the board chair for Healthier Hamilton County Systems of Care as well as the ICCMHC for Child and Adolescent Services.

Vanessa was raised in California and moved to Indiana when she was in 6th grade. She is very close with her family which still resides in California, along with Texas and Indiana. She currently resides in Boone County with her husband, Justin, who is a firefighter, their two children, Sophie and Conner and their 2 dogs and a cat. As a family, they enjoy the winter when they get to ski as a family and hit the slopes whenever they can. She loves skiing so much she is on the board for the Indianapolis Ski Club. She enjoys reading, traveling, movies and spending time with her large extended family
