Youth Mental Health First Aid

Experience this instructor-led workshop-style course and learn how to identify potential signs that a young person may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is a national certification for adults who work with or care about youth. We teach you how to identify potential signs that a young person may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge and how to approach those youth to offer them assistance.

Pre-registration, MHFA Connect account creation, pre-work, course attendance, and a post-course quiz are required for certification. Details will be provided by the instructor.

You MUST be 18 years old or older to attend this course.
