Congratulations to Dr. Elena Mrozinske, Indiana University School of Social Work, South Bend campus, for successfully completing her Quality Matters (QM) Certification for SWK 141: Introduction to Social Work; the 1st QM-certified course at South Bend.

The QM certification process is rigorous and demonstrates Dr. Mrozinske’s commitment to high-quality online and hybrid education. This course was reviewed by a team of three faculty members with current experience in online teaching, including a subject matter expert. The review team utilized the QM Rubric for Higher Education, which includes 42 specific review standards based on online learning research and best practices. To meet QM standards, the course must meet all 23 essential standards and earn at least 85% of the total possible points. Dr. Mrozinske’s course met QM standards during this review.
