Indiana University School of Social Work, student smiling at cameraCinthia Rodriguez-Garcia is a senior in the undergraduate social work program in Bloomington. She would like to become a victim advocate after she graduates in May 2023.  Her gratitude for your support shines through in the words she wrote after receiving the scholarship.

“I would like to thank you for providing a gift to this scholarship. This means so much to me as a full-time student who does not have a job. This scholarship will help me be able to afford the resources that I will need next semester and gas for my car. I commute to IU two days of the week, but my commute is an hour long. And with gas prices rising, it is getting expensive as the months go on. This scholarship will help get the load off each week when I have to fill up my gas tank. Now, it will be less stressful knowing that I have enough to pay for it. Additionally, it will lead to not being too stressed about how much money I will spend for gas, and I can focus more on doing my school work. Again, thank you so much for this opportunity and I am very grateful to be receiving this scholarship.”
