COURSE DESCRIPTION:

  • Observation and experience with health and behavioral health care programs and its interprofessional collaborative practice in South Korea
  • Cultural excursion in Seoul and Jeju Island through visiting local attractions and agencies and interacting with Korean student

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • 3 on-campus sessions & 12 days in South Korea which include visits to health/behavioral health care agencies in urban area in Seoul and rural area in Jeju Island
  • The anticipated cost includes lodging, airfare, meals, transportation, and cultural excursions

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITIY & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral social work students on any of the IU campuses
  • Students from any disciplines interested in global health/ behavioral health care
  • Respectful adaptation to another culture as well as the demands of group travel
  • Adherence to the rules and safety guidelines set by the program and university
