IU School of Social Work at LEAD Day, Indiana State House

On Monday, March 6, 2023, Indiana University School of Social Work participated in Social Workers’ Legislative Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD) at the Indiana State House in Indianapolis, IN.
The event in participation with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) includes recognition of social work programs, learning about key legislation, and students meeting with Indiana representatives.

“It was an inspiring experience to hear legislators who came and spoke asking for social workers to advocate,” said Carlene Quinn, BSW Program Director and Clinical Associate Professor of Field Instruction and Coordination, IU Bloomington.
