About the Scholarship #
A fund was established in 2021 to provide full-tuition scholarships for BSW students who have demonstrated an interest in community service and/or service to a family member in need; plan to pursue an MSW degree; and have an interest in the field of community-based practice in mental health and addictions.
Students should take S331 in fall 2024 and plan to finish the BSW program in two years. This full-tuition scholarship may be renewed for BSW senior year and the MSW Advanced Standing program, if the student remains in good standing with the School of Social Work. Students from IU Northwest would have to complete the MSW program on a different campus or online. Tuition for the online program is not fully funded by this scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements #

- Applicant must be accepted to an IUSSW BSW program.
- Applicant must be in junior standing at beginning of fall 2024 according to the university, having completed 60 credit hours.
