IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law
Hall Center for Law and Health: 2024 Indiana Health Law Review Symposium

Join the Hall Center for Law and Health and the Indiana Health Law Review as we host our annual symposium on October 25, 2024 at IU McKinney School of Law (Inlow Hall)! This is an in-person only event and will include lunch.

This year’s symposium will focus on the impact of limited access to healthcare on mass incarceration and reintegration into society after release from correctional facilities. The event will address important legal issues at the intersection of public health and the criminal justice system, making it highly relevant for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and Continuing Education Units (CEU). Attendees will gain comprehensive insights into legal advocacy for incarcerated individuals, including litigation to ensure healthcare access and specialized considerations for vulnerable populations such as children, indigenous communities, and LGBTQIA+ communities. The keynotes and panels, featuring experts with extensive legal and medical qualifications, will explore contemporary challenges and solutions to ensure equitable healthcare and justice. This content will be beneficial for professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in health law, civil rights, and criminal justice reform.

This program will be offered in person for 5.0 CLE credit hours.

CEU Certificates for Indiana Behavioral Health & Human Services Providers available.

Certificates of attendance can be provided for those wishing to apply for CLE credit outside of Indiana.
