Let’s Talk @ the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center

As a college student, lots of things can cause you stress—academics, relationships, roommates, depression, and more. The Let’s Talk program at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) helps you understand what’s bothering you and gives you tools to find solutions to your problems. Everyone is welcome.
Let’s Talk consultations are …
- FREE for IUB students
- Offered first-come, first-served (no appointment necessary)
- Typically about 20-25 minutes in length
- Informal, and not a substitute for counseling
- Not appropriate for urgent concerns or mental health emergencies
Let’s Talk is not a substitute for counseling and does not constitute mental health treatment. Let’s Talk counselors can listen to specific problems, help explore solutions, and introduce you to what it’s like to speak with a member of our staff.
Counselor: Michael Whiteside
Upon entry, check-in at the front desk, and walk into the first room to the right of the desk. It is the main conference room on the 1st floor when you enter the main doors facing Eagleson Ave.
