Associate/Assistant Professor #

Position Details: The Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) anticipates hiring four tenure-track or tenured 10-month faculty positions at the assistant or associate rank at the Indianapolis campus. All areas of scholarly interest will be considered. Applicant experience should reflect the potential for or an established record of success in scholarship, funded research and teaching.
Qualifications: A doctoral-level degree in social work with a master’s degree in social work and two years of relevant post-master’s experience preferred. Candidates at the associate rank must meet established tenure standards for faculty in the IUSSW.
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Bachelor’s Social Work (BSW) Program Director #
Location: Indiana University School of Social Work – Bloomington Campus

Position Details: The BSW Program Director is a twelve-month, non-tenure track faculty appointment. The BSW Program Director is a twelve month, non-tenure track faculty appointment. The BSW Program Director provides collaborative leadership and administrative coordination for the BSW program at IU Bloomington, including recruitment, advisement, and support of BSW students matriculating on the IU Bloomington campus, and recruitment and support of associate faculty for the BSW program. The Program Director will also have teaching responsibilities and will participate in service activities such as the IUSSW BSW curriculum committee and other relevant school, campus, university, or community committees or groups as required.
Qualifications: A doctoral-level degree in social work, master of social work, two years post-master’s experience and at least three years of experience in a social work education setting; command of CSWE accreditation standards; demonstrated excellence in public relations; excellent written and oral communication skills; and demonstrated skill in curriculum development and academic program monitoring and evaluation.
