24th Annual Indiana University School of Social Work Alumni Continuing Education Conference

The Indiana University School of Social Work Alumni Association (IUSSWAA) is pleased to issue a “Call for Presentations” for our upcoming 24th Annual Indiana University School of Social Work Alumni Continuing Education Conference that will be held on March 7, 2025. To make this conference a success, we need professionals to share their expertise. Prospective workshop presenters are encouraged to submit proposals on a variety of topics.
Workshop proposals will be reviewed with preference given to proposals based on relevancy to the field, best practices, and opportunities for audience participation and skill building. As this is a statewide conference, participants come from across Indiana and beyond. It is important that we offer workshops that are broad enough in scope so that information can be relevant and applicable to as many attendees as possible. We have also received feedback from previous conference attendees that even if the information is for beginners it is more substantive with opportunities for skill building takeaways.
Also, potential speakers who have previously presented on actual or similar topics are asked to attach any available links for the committee to review if available.
Conference workshops should be 90 minutes or 3 hours in length allowing time for questions and answers. Please specify the level of training that you will address: beginning, intermediate, and advanced.
Regrettably, no honoraria are given to workshop presenters. The presenters do receive a complimentary conference registration that includes lunch.
