Identifying Problematic Sexual Behaviors
Therapists and providers are being challenged with children and youth in placement with sexual behaviors. What should you do when a child or youth has sexual behaviors? What is normal, what is concerning, what is harmful? What level of rules need to be in the home, school, community, etc.? Come learn cliff notes on how to identify the sexual behaviors with children and youth, how to safety plan to those behaviors, and identify supports for caregivers.

Amanda Pryor, MSW, LCSW, CSAYC is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with eighteen years of experience. She is a graduate of Indiana University School of Social Work. She specializes in therapeutic interventions, program development, direct services, and training for youth with sexual behavior problems and their families. She is the Director of the Advocacy and Training Alliance, LLC – Indiana’s training and credentialing organization that trains, administrates, and governs specialty credentials for professional working in the space. Amanda is a Representative on the Board for Association for the Treatment and Prevention of Sexual Abuse.
