Our joint-degree programs are intended to prepare leaders who will offer a combination of analytical thinking and broad understanding to their industry.

Requirements #

The MSW/MPH allows a student to have a concentration in either Health Policy and Management (85 total credit hours) or Behavioral Health (82 total credit hours). The joint degree allows a student to complete both the MSW and MPH in 4 or 5 years.

Please note that an applicant interested in the joint degree program must follow all of the admissions requirements, application guidelines and time frames for acceptance into the IU School of Social Work and IU Indianapolis Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. If an applicant is accepted into both programs, there will be a meeting of advisors from each program with the student to plan the course of study.
