Education Abroad
Committed to preparing globally-minded social work practitioners, students can take advantage of two types of education abroad programs – STUDY ABROAD COURSES and PRACTICUM ABROAD. By participating in either of these programs, students will:
- Earn academic credits for coursework completed abroad.
- Receive one-on-one advising and supervision from an assigned faculty and/or staff member from the School of Social Work.
- Engage in international experiential learning.
- Expand their global practice competencies.
- Pay for program fees through the IU Bursar.
- Eligible to receive most forms of financial aid and available scholarships.
