Scholarships

Here are resources available to support students embarking in education abroad opportunities:

Planning Grant – Up to $3000

• For students new to IUI with financial need
• three years to use the award

International Experience Scholarship – $1000-$3000

• Almost all full-time or part-time graduate and undergraduate students at IUI are eligible

Shreve Study Abroad Scholarship – $2000

• Available for undergraduate students with financial need

OVST Scholarships – undergraduate – $500-$2500

• Not for all of their programs – primarily only IU Administered
• Education Abroad Scholarships

IU School of Social Work’s Elsa M. Iverson International Travel Scholarship

External – Gilman US citizen

• Pell Grant Eligible
• Minimum Program Length of three weeks (21 days) for students enrolled at a four-year institution
• Up to $5000
