ReneĆ© Betts received her BSW and MSW degrees from Indiana University School of Social Work with concentrations in child welfare and leadership. She has over 15 years of professional experience focused in the areas of children, adolescents and families. Coordinator and administrator for all aspects of field education for the BSW program, Indianapolis Campus. Responsible for recruiting and assessing field placement sites, engaging students in the field planning process, assigning students to specific field placements, and consulting with field partners in resolving concerns. Primary teaching interest include: introduction to social work, child welfare, integrative field seminars both in person and online.
