Area of Interest
Carlene Quinn is an Associate Clinical Professor as the BSW Program Coordinator of the School of Social Work on the Bloomington campus. Areas of interest: Service work, field practicum, use of social media and technology in field and classroom. I am also interested addressing emerging social justice issues and gaps in communities through creative placement sites to help build capacities in under served areas.

Practice Experience
Carlene is a LCSW, ACSW whose clinical experience has been working with families and children with serious mental health and substance abuse challenges on an inpatient, outpatient, and home-based settings. She began teaching part-time teaching 1999 and became full-time in 2004. Previously she was a Student Outreach Coordinator for Twenty-first Century Scholars, advising families and adolescents experiencing low-wealth on how to prepare for college. Carlene is also a GROUPS recommender.
