The website design is to IU Brand. Marcom has final approval of template layout and all content. New features will only be created by an approval process from team of IT and Marketing.

Landing Pages

Landing pages can use a multiple combination of components.   Dynamic component features should be avoided.    Content is to be simple and engaging.  Call to Action (CTA’S) links is to be a piece of content intended to induce a viewer, reader, or listener to perform a specific act, typically taking the form of an instruction or directive. Landing page #3 is IU.edu use only for main landings if at all. New brand Indianapolis is not using #3 format.

Detailed Pages

Detailed pages can use a multiple combination of components.   Reference the do’s and don’ts for the dynamic features.   Content readability is critical.

Components and features

Use the components and news and events to mix into the layouts.    Follow the landing page or details pages as quick guides.

Creating a mock-up #

    Choose a layout template

    Decide on details or landing page.

    Follow the Rules

    Ensure you adhere to any specific guidelines or rules provided

    Mix in Components

    Copy elements from the internal use area of the component or event-news page.

    Order of Components

    Arrange the components in the order you want them to appear on the page similar to the examples.

    Complete the Title and SEO Area:

    Fill in the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) area with relevant keywords to improve searchability. Title accurately reflects the content of the page.

    Submit the Document

    Once you've completed the document, submit it through the ticket system or project designation.

Approval Process

All pages will receive approval from both the IT and Marketing departments to ensure strict adherence to IU policies.
