Increasing tuition, living expenses and yes, textbook costs have combined to create a new challenge. Some Social Work students are opting to take classes without the benefit of the course textbooks. They simply do not have the resources to purchase books.
A generous donor has stepped forward to provide a $500 matching grant to create a Lending Library for social work students.

$49 will purchase Professional Writing for Social Work Practice, 2nd Edition Publisher: Springer for the S481 Social Work Practicum I.
$114 will purchase Developing Helping Skills: A Step-by-Step Approach, 3rd Ed Text + Printed CourseMate Access Card for S332 Small Group Theory and Practice.
$190 will purchase Human Behavior in Social Environment (6th edition) Publisher: Cengage for S221 Human Growth and Development in the Social Environment.
