Theodora Allen Memorial Scholarship
Theodora Allen was a professor, mentor and friend to hundreds of social work students on the Bloomington Campus from 1957-1972. No matter what role Theodora Allen played in the lives and education of her students, she touched those around her in significant ways.
In 2003, former student and friend Irene Weinberg ’61 honored her mentor by establishing the Theodora Allen Memorial Scholarship. Gifts to this Fund support BSW scholarships for students studying social work on Indiana University’s Bloomington campus.
Theodora Allen was a warm and generous friend who gave of herself unreservedly to the profession, and the IU School of Social Work. Thank you for honoring her memory today by making a gift to the Theodora Allen Memorial Scholarship.
