IU's School of Social Work offers an accelerated and rigorous program that helps you earn a bachelor's and master's of social work in a little as 5 years. Apply for the program by your second year, maintain a 3.0 GPA through your third year, you'll be eligible to take MSW classes while completing your bachelor's degree.

All applicants must meet the following criteria by the end of their 2nd year:
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
Maintain good academic standing at Indiana University.
Demonstrate strong performance in their chosen minor or area of interest, particularly in courses deemed foundational to social work (e.g., human behavior, social policy, research methods, statistics).
While overall GPA is considered, emphasis will be placed on performance in relevant coursework and demonstrated analytical abilities.

Meet with your academic advisor and/or a Social Work recruiting specialist to discuss your academic plan

Nope! Whether you're a BSW student or pursuing another bachelor's degree, IU's School of Social Work has an accelerated master's pathway for you.
BSW students can enroll in up to 12 MSW credit hours over the last two semesters of their BSW program. Those courses include:
